CONCEPT

The Idea:
Turning pain into beauty.

Why:
Because I believe that when we are most hurt we are often at our most beautiful, no matter how badly we feel. If we can remember in that moment of pain to look at our beauty then we can get through our tears.

The Process:
Next time your heart is breaking (or you stub your toe) don't just cry by yourself. Pick up your camera and take a photo. Don't worry about how you look, I assure you you'll look utterly beautiful. Then submit your photos to me and I will turn you into a work of art.

It was one year ago today that I started this site. I still love the idea and concept just as much. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank ALL of those who have submitted photographs for me to paint over the past year. I am humbled with every entry and am honoured that people have shared such intimate moments with me. I can only hope it was worth your time and you enjoyed the artwork I completed of you.
